Yori Ettema is a maker working across product design, film, and technology. The common thread is an approach that’s both technical and artistic — an interest in how something works and what it means, without treating those as separate questions.

The work moves between materials and disciplines. A piece of furniture in raw aluminium and MDF. A therapeutic tool that uses AI-generated video to help people face their fears. A short film, a book, a clinical interface — different forms, the same way of working: taking an idea and building it into something that holds up in detail.

Much of it sits between fields rather than inside one. Technology provides the tools, design gives them direction, and craft keeps the result solid. The work spans camera, workshops, and software, but the aim is consistent: where function and feeling meet.
