DeepMemory
DeepMemory originated in 2020, I developed it from an early deepfake experiment into a clinical therapeutic tool, now under testing and researched in partnership with Parnassia Groep and the Mark van der Gaag Research Center.

DeepMemory began as my exploration of whether deepfake technology — usually framed as deceptive — could be turned toward something restorative. The idea: let people see themselves succeed in a situation they fear, and use that new perspective to reframe deeply rooted anxiety.
I took the concept from first experiments through to a potential clinical method. That meant developing the approach, directing the filmed material, building the production pipeline, and shaping how the tool is used alongside CBT in a therapeutic setting. What started as a personal experiment is now known as aVSM — Artificial Video Self-Modelling — and is being brought into clinical practice through extensive trials and research.
