UNFOLD

UNFOLD brought together three photographers — Annet Neijmeijer, Frederieke Fennema and Leonie van der Helm — around a shared pursuit: making the invisible visible. Time, space, freedom, the traces of inherited trauma. Their work starts from photography but often moves beyond it, into installation and material intervention.

I filmed, directed and edited this short film to capture the exhibition. The challenge with work this quiet and layered is not to explain it, but to let the atmosphere carry — to translate a space you walk through into something that holds up on a screen.
